Many parenting jobseekers referred to your service will be coming at a time when many other non-vocational issues are occurring for them. Some will be in the midst of separation or divorce, others will be in the middle of custody battles or property settlements. Some may have passed through all of these and been left with the bitter taste of betrayal, unrealised expectations and a totally different lifestyle to that which they had imagined.

Added to this, for many the role of single parent has been foisted upon them, often accompanied by the loss of the family home, new schooling for the children and ongoing emotional upheaval resulting from a family break up.
For such parents the issues of self esteem, trust, motivation, and the like run much deeper than just vocational attributes. At a time when most employers encourage staff to take time off, legislation and economic necessity require these clients to enter the workforce.

Our Intensive Support Service can assist your parenting clients to overcome the emotional, attitudinal, behavioural and physical barriers that will otherwise keep them from a successful return to work. Our qualified and caring Counsellors work one on one with your clients at the times and places that best suit your clients needs. With our support your clients will be supported to deal with the barriers in their lives and achieve a speedy and successful return to the workplace.

Our Intensive Support Service is billed on a client contact only hourly rate. All file notes and reports are formatted in accordance with your process requirements and your contractual obligations with DEWR.
